I.S.P.F National Show

The Irish Society Of Poultry Fanciers National show was held today in Gurteen Agricultural Collage, Co.Tipperary.
I brought 5 birds; 1 Gold Dutch hen, 2 Silver Dutch hens, 1 Millefluer Barbu D'uccle hen and 2 White Barnevelder hen.
Im really happy with how they done, getting 1 first, 2 seconds, and 1 third,
My Gold Dutch hen came third in her class of six birds, only loosing points due to her weight!
My two Silver Dutch did extremely well in their classes, taking first and second place, in a class of six birds, And one hen taking "Reserve Best Of Breed" getting 98/100 points from the Judge.
I also got a second placing for my Barbu D'uccle hen.
Unfortunately I arrived late and the judging was already complete in the class that the white Barnevelders were entered into.
All in all it was a great day out, with lots of top quality birds on show.
